After quite an extensive process, we are in advanced negotiations for the potential acquisition of Georgiou Group by STRABAG, a European-based construction company. The agreement is still subject to STRABAG receiving approval by Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board, however the negotiations have reached a stage where this can be shared.
This is exciting news. By joining the STRABAG Group, Georgiou will benefit from being part of a large, sophisticated multi-national organisation through increased financial backing and access to proven technical capability, experience and assets that extend beyond our current resources. This expansion of capability offers immense value and opportunity for Georgiou as a company, but also for our whole team.

Most important to me right now, is to reassure you that should this agreement be finalised, not a lot will change at Georgiou. STRABAG has entered into this agreement because they have immense respect for how we approach our work and our culture. Our focus now and into the future is maintaining stability and continuity, both for our people, and to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients and partners.
